Since meeting in 1976, Robin Garthwait and Dan Griffin have been telling stories. Combining Garthwait’s theatre background and Griffin’s study of photography and writing, their work has melded together to create films that reflect a world full of complex lives and topics. G&G weave the words and stories of real people into intricate layers of images and sound. Owners of Garthwait & Griffin Films, the couple have produced a number of films on Tibet, including: Tibet's Stolen Child, The World Isn't Listening, Why Are We Silent?, Missing in Tibet, and The Dalai Lama Visits Washington D.C..
